For my writing class, I developed an original television concept from inception to pitch-ready materials. The project required creating a comprehensive TV bible, and professional pitch document for an original show concept. I chose to explore the reality television genre based on current market trends and viewer preferences. The project challenged me to understand industry formatting standards, audience demographics, and the essential elements of compelling unscripted content. This project strengthened my concept development skills and understanding of television industry standards, while allowing me to explore the creative and business aspects of content creation.
