Task Force Initiative

For my Communication Theory class, I designed a poster addressing social media's impact on female college freshmen's mental health. Within the poster, I incorporated 6 different theories, 4 of which were not covered in the course. I learned how to effectively research and apply unfamiliar communication theories to practical messaging, translate complex theoretical concepts into accessible visual elements, and design materials that could make a real impact on student well-being. This project helped me understand how communication theories can be powerful tools for addressing social issues when applied thoughtfully to targeted messaging strategies.
